Paul Taylor

Paul Taylor is a pastor and technologist with a deep love for the San Francisco Bay Area and its outsized role in shaping the world. These days, most of his efforts focus on cultivating a redemptive influence from one of the most consequential places on earth.

He serves as Director of Unify at Transforming the Bay with Christ (TBC), connecting pastors and churches into catalytic networks for the good of their city. As Co-founder and President of the Bay Area Center for Faith, Work & Tech, he works at the intersection of Christian theology and Silicon Valley culture. Faith, Work & Tech exists to cultivate faith and work integration in the Bay Area to transform people who are transforming the world. He holds a Stanford engineering degree, spent years in product management at Oracle, and served as a pastor at Peninsula Bible Church in Palo Alto for 19 years.

He is writing a book on biblical anthropology with InterVarsity Press based on material from his doctoral studies at Fuller Seminary. His 4AI Framework defines what it means to be human as four postures people take. 

Paul has published in Christianity Today, regularly appears as a guest on podcasts, and speaks around the world on topics of faith, work, and technology.
