Before You Read

Dear reader,

We’ll get right to it: Young people today are departing the faith in historic numbers as the church is either unwilling or unable to address their questions on science and faith. BioLogos is hosting those tough conversations. Not with anger, but with grace. Not with a simplistic position to earn credibility on the left or the right, but a message that is informed, faithful, and hopeful.

Although voices on both sides are loud and extreme, we are breaking through. But as a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of donors like you to continue this challenging work. Your tax deductible gift today will help us continue to counter the polarizing narratives of today with a message that is informed, hopeful, and faithful.

Join the Faraday Institute, Theos, and BioLogos for a deeper dive into science and religion in a live podcast conversation in Cambridge on 7 September, at 19:00.

For the past three years, the Faraday Institute and Theos have undergone a large scale research project to find out how people in the UK understand and think about science and religion. They found that the conversation is much deeper and much more interesting than is often portrayed. Come listen to a live Language of God podcast about what they learned and even join in the conversation yourself.

Nick Spencer is Senior Fellow at Theos and a co-author of the report.

Bethany Sollereder is a Lecturer in Science and Religion at the University of Edinburgh.

Jim Stump is Host of the Language of God podcast and Vice President of Programs at BioLogos.

This event is hosted by BioLogos.
