John Trinder

Dr. John Trinder is a Critical Care specialist working in a teaching hospital in Northern Ireland, UK. He was born in Belfast, and trained in the UK and Australia. While he is mainly a bedside clinician, he is active in research, publishing in peer-reviewed and high impact journals, and he has a PhD-equivalent MD (U.K.). He was the inaugural President of the Northern Ireland Intensive Care Society, former Clinical Lead of Northern Ireland Critical Care Network, and former Chair of an NHS Research Ethics Committee. He is married with 2 grown children, and plays electric guitar at his church and in a blues band.
