Jane Goodall

Dr. Jane Goodall is a global phenomenon who has built on groundbreaking chimpanzee behavioral research to grow as a singular figure in advocating on behalf of the natural world. For decades, Dr. Goodall’s voice has shaped and influenced policy and individual action on biodiversity protection, community-led conservation, animal welfare, and the climate crisis as well as global humanitarian efforts. Her global community-led conservation organization the Jane Goodall Institute implements essential work to grow understanding and protecting of great apes and their habitats through partnerships with human communities and empowering the next generation of changemakers through the Roots & Shoots youth program operating in over 50 countries.
