BioLogos Voices speaker John Walton will present “Understanding Adam and Eve and the Fall” and “Understanding Genesis: Insights from the Study of Ancient Near-East Cultures” at the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion’s online summer course Telling a Better Story: Why Faith and Science Belong Together from June 28-July 3, 2020. Denis Alexander, BioLogos advisor, will be a course leader.

“Faith and science are often seen as uncomfortable bed-fellows. However, this has not always been so. This course examines the ways in which Faith and Science speak to each other in contemporary society and explores the theological and ethical issues which this dialogue raises.

Come and spend a week online and explore this subject in some depth in the company of a group of top academics and hear them speak about their science and how it impacts their faith. Leading the course will be the staff of the Faraday Institute –  Prof. Bob White, Prof Keith Fox, Prof Hugh Rollinson, Dr Denis Alexander, Rev. Dr Rodney Holder, Rev. Dr Roger Abbott, Dr Ruth Bancewicz and other academics from the UK and beyond.

This course is open to people of all faiths and none, and to scientists and non-scientists alike.”
