Pastors may be interested in science, but they often get little exposure to science in their training. In 2015, the PBS program Religion & Ethics News Weekly featured a discussion of science training for religious leaders. The program focused on Science for Seminaries, a new project of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), which is supporting the efforts of several pilot seminaries to integrate better science exposure in the training of future pastors. On the show, several professors and students (including BioLogos Board member Jennifer Wiseman) discuss their thoughts on why science is important in the seminary environment.
