Paul's Adam

In this clip from From the Dust, N.T. Wright, Alister Mcgrath, and several others discuss who Paul considered Adam to be. The key question addressed is whether Paul sees Adam as a symbolic figurehead of humanity or as a specific historical figure who gave rise to the human race.

I identify most strongly with the organization’s eleventh article of belief (“What we believe”): We believe that conversations among Christians about controversial issues of science and faith can and must be conducted with humility, grace, honesty, and compassion as a visible sign of the Spirit’s presence in Christ’s body, the Church.
