Walter Bradley

Walter Bradley is the Director of the Polymer Science and Engineering Program at Texas A&M University, Materials Thrust Area Leader for Texas A&M University's Offshore Technology NSF Research Center, and has served as Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University, a department of 67 faculty members. He received his B.S. in Engineering Science and his Ph.D. in Materials science, both from the University of Texas at Austin. He taught for eight years as an associate professor of Metallurgical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines before assuming his current position as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. Bradley served as Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and as Director of the Polymer Technology Center for the past 24 years at Texas A&M. He co-authored the book The Mystery of Life's Origin: Reassessing Current Theories and has published over 150 articles and book chapters.
