Kent Hovind

Kent Hovind, also known as “Dr. Dino”, is a young-earth creationist and founder of Creation Science Evangelism (CSE). During his active years with CSE, Hovind spoke frequently in public and private schools, churches, university debates, and on radio and television broadcasts. Hovind believes there is no contradiction between the true science of creation and the Bible. He has been a frequent critic of evolutionary theory, which he contends is neither scriptural nor scientific. He has had a long standing offer of a 250,000 dollar prize to anyone with real scientific evidence of evolution. Hovind has also studied extensively in the field of cryptozoology – the study of legendary or mysterious animals -- and maintains that dinosaurs lived with man in the Garden of Eden and are still in existence today. His “Hovind theory” of young earth creationism claims an ice meteor or comet collided with Earth during the time of Noah, causing the Genesis flood and creating the fossil record.
