Albert Mohler
Albert Mohler is the ninth president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, one of the largest seminaries in the world and the founding institution of the Southern Baptist Convention. In addition to fulfilling this role, Dr. Mohler also hosts a nationwide radio program called The Albert Mohler Program, keeps a blog, and writes regular commentary on moral, cultural and theological issues. Mohler is an ordained minister and has served as pastor for several Southern Baptist churches. An outspoken proponent of evangelical morals and beliefs, including belief in a literal creation story, Mohler has been called “the reigning intellectual of the evangelical movement in the US” by Time magazine. He has been featured in interviews on MSNBC, NPR, and in Time Magazine. He has authored several books, including, most recently, Desire and Deceit: The Real Cost of the New Sexual Tolerance and He Is Not Silent: Preaching in a Postmodern World.
