Book Club
The BioLogos Foundation encourages the formation of book clubs across the country to promote dialogue on the key science-and-religion concepts. BioLogos already offers a number of recommended books by other authors for those interested in developing an integrated view of the origins of life that does justice to both science and faith. Through the book clubs, BioLogos hopes to bring the voices of both authors and readers together to discuss the important topics addressed in these book.
BioLogos has already begun its pilot run of the book club program, which will focus on Karl Giberson’s Saving Darwin. In addition to local meetings, the book clubs will have the chance to meet with the author through the WebEx online conferencing system to discuss the issues addressed in the book. We hope to run this first meeting in early December.
While we have already established several book clubs across the country (see the map below), we still have room for more volunteers in this pilot run. If you would like to know more about BioLogos book clubs or would like to volunteer to organize or join a group in your local area, please contact us.
