Annual President’s Circle Gathering, October 4, 2012

The annual President’s Circle Gathering will take place on Thursday, October 4th, at the Cosmos Club in Washington, D.C. The event will commence with a special lecture from Old Testament scholar Dr. John Walton of Wheaton College. In his lecture “Reading Genesis with Ancient Eyes,” Walton will uncover how the culture of the ancient Near East sheds light on the biblical creation narrative. Following the lecture there will be a reception, dinner, and an evening program, including a BioLogos report and remarks from very important Washington, D.C. friends. Simon Dixon will lead us in worship throughout the event. Dixon, who is music and worship director at The Falls Church in Falls Church, Virginia, recently played for the Queen of England, a testament to his gifts.

This annual event is a night when the BioLogos community can come together in fellowship and become inspired by the progress BioLogos has made over the past year. Guests will also be updated on current BioLogos initiatives and how we intend to continue growing and expanding in the near future.

The President’s Circle is an informal network of individuals who are excited about the vision and mission of BioLogos and are willing to support the organization with counsel, contributions, and connections without the time burden required for serving as a trustee. If you donate or raise at least $1,000 a year, you will be invited to serve on our President’s Circle.

It’s not too late to join! Please contact Laura J Landmann at lauraj.landmann@biologos.org if you are interested in joining and attending the October event.
