BioLogos has a great group of leaders that provide us with expertise in science, theology, pastoral care, Christian education, and other fields that are relevant to our vision and mission. We want to keep you informed about the upcoming events of other leaders within the BioLogos community. If they’re coming to your area, be sure to check them out.
On July 20–23, 2012, the American Scientific Affiliation (ASA) will host its annual meeting at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. This year’s theme is “Science, Faith, and the Media: Communicating Beyond Books.” It’s about bringing together the worlds of communication (film, television, the newsroom, public relations, the Internet, and social networking) and the community of science and faith—and all with the hope of providing innovative ways of reaching a wider audience. Many from the BioLogos community will attend, and several are serving as panelists—including Darrel Falk, Kathryn Applegate, Stephen Mapes, Deborah Haarsma, and Ted Davis. To register for the meeting, go to www.asa3.org.
