Here are some upcoming events featuring BioLogos, president, Darrel Falk. In future newsletters, this section will include a broader speakers list including other leaders in the BioLogos community.
He will be speaking at Biola University as a member of a team presenting the evolutionary creation view to administrative leaders and board members to a wide variety of Christian colleges and universities. During this time other teams will present alternative perspectives on creation as well.
During the week of June 24, he’ll join other members of the BioLogos team to teach in our annual, weeklong teacher workshop for science teachers in Christian schools. Called BioLogy by the Sea, this is one of BioLogos’s most appreciated initiatives even though it includes teachers from various perspectives—including some that are quite different from our evolutionary creation view.
On July 14, he’ll speak to the Orange County, California Chapter of Reasons To Believe. The details of this event will be forthcoming, but this is a great opportunity for public conversation with a group that is formally opposed to God having created through a macro-evolutionary process.
And in August Darrel will speak at two meetings. The first will be held at the Community Presbyterian Church in Danville, California (August 17), and the other at the Atlanta, Georgia Chapter of Reasons To Believe (August 30).
