Evolution & Christian Faith Project Updates
The first resources from our Evolution & Christian Faith grant program are already rolling in, and we’re excited to share them with our BioLogos readers.
The Nazarenes Exploring Evolution website now features 27 essays exploring evolution from various Christian perspectives. Their newest authors include Point Loma Nazarene University theology professor Michael Lodahl, hospital chaplain Bethany Hull Somers, and Eastern Nazarene University professor of chemistry Lowell Hall. You can read them all here.
The Spanish-language project La Evolucion de Dios / God's Evolution debuted the first book from their project at a conference on May 23. The book, titled Entre la ciencia y la salvación: la interpretación del Génesis en San Agustín (in English, Between Science and Salvation: Saint Augustine’s Interpretation of Genesis), was written by Prof. Karla Pollmann of the University of Kent and translated by Dr. Pedro Zamora and Pablo DeFelipe.
Finally, the first gathering of ECF grantees will be held at Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts, from June 24 to 29. This will be an important time of learning, networking, and scholarly collaboration among all the ECF participants.
