System Administrator/Web Developer
Christian Faith & Science Academic Content Manager
We are searching for a qualified candidate to develop high-quality resources—both general and scholarly—to move the science and faith discussion forward. The position will be responsible for recruiting, curating, and editing content to be published on the BioLogos website. You will work with writers to create our daily blog series, The BioLogos Forum, as well as develop other resources (curricula, infographics, videos, etc.) as a member of the BioLogos team. We are looking for someone who embodies the BioLogos vision of communicating in humility, truth, and grace, celebrating Christian unity while sharing the best of modern science with the church. The ideal candidate will hold at least a master's degree (preferably a doctoral degree), in a field of science, religion, or a related area, with experience writing at the intersection of faith and science.
We are seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant to support the BioLogos President and Grand Rapids office team. The person in this position will maintain calendars, screen telephone calls and emails, take meeting notes, work with sensitive and confidential information, keep databases current, gather data for reports, create complex documents, plan events, and assist in daily activities of the Executive team. This person will interface with internal employees as well as outside scholars, donors, and organizations. Qualified candidates will have excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel and some experience maintaining a database. Critical attributes for this position include attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, good judgment, and the ability to work in a team-based environment. Ideally, candidates would have at least 10 years of related administrative experience in a professional environment, with at least 3 years supporting an executive. Previous non-profit or philanthropic organization experience, and experience with Raiser’s Edge software, is preferred.
