March 16, 2010
The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. opens its Human Origins exhibit hall tomorrow (March 17). The David H. Koch Hall of Human Origins features life-size reconstructed faces of early humans, an interactive family tree, and the “One Species Living Worldwide” theatre.
The 15,000-square-foot exhibit is the result of over 60 research and educational organizations and over 100 researchers from around the world.
The exhibit’s recently launched Web site features recent news on human origins research, educational resources and an interactive 3D display of fossils and artifacts from the museum’s exhibit.
