“Evolution is Lost in a Peanut Butter Jar”

March 9, 2010

Ph. D. candidate Daniel Hawes addresses popular arguments against evolution in his recent blog post, “Evolution is Lost in a Peanut Butter Jar.”

The article was partially based off of what Hawes calls an “outright awful video” against evolution.

“There are quite a few popular misconceptions about evolution that I find repeated far too often,” writes Hawes. His blog tackles five points, including the definition of scientific theory (as opposed to a hypothesis) and the fact that “humans did not evolve from today’s monkeys.”
