The American Scientific Affiliation (ASA) Annual Meeting will be held in Colorado School of Mines, Golden, CO. The theme of this year's conference is "Exploring New Heights for Science & Stewardship." This conference will include a pre-meeting workshop, plenary sessions, a special symposium, parallel sessions, a poster session, Saturday banquet, and opportunities for field trips (such as: a Denver Front Range Geology tour, Rocky Mountain National Park tour, National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) tour, National Center for Atmospheric Research and the National Ice Core Laboratory tour, Rocky Mountain foothills hikes).
Plenary speakers include: Katharine Hayhoe (Director of the Climate Change Science Center at Texas Tech), Ian Hutchinson (Professor of Nuclear Science ad Engineering at MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center), James Paterson (Director of the Benne Center of Religion and Society at Roanoke College), and Annabelle Pratt (Principal Electrical Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory). The Saturday Banquet Speaker is celebrated writer and speaker, Philip Yancey. And the Symposium Leader is Dorothy Boorse (Wetland Ecologist).
BioLogos' Resources Editor Kathryn Applegate will present a breakout session entitled "Bringing Light, Not Heat: New and Forthcoming BioLogos Resources."
